There is something so sensually magical about waking up on a lazy Saturday morning and feeling the first bite of the changing seasons. As my feet swung out from under my cozy down comforter, the cold wooden floor quickly served as a sharp reminder that fall has officially started.
I threw on my favorite sweater and wool socks and made myself a strong cup of Colombian coffee. Gripping the mug for warmth, I slowly browsed through my classic book collection to see which literary escape I wanted to relive during my happy staycation on the Upper West Side.
To the sound of rain on my window... I snuggled right back into bed with my cozy socks, black coffee, and borrowed copy of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea. It’s mornings like these that allow me to fully relax and get back in touch with the simple pleasures in life that are so important to me. Happy fall everyone. Xx
